Four AUSA machines assisted the Formula 1 Gran Premio de España 2013
Last Formula 1 Grand Prix was assisted by four AUSA machines at the F1 circuit of Montmeló (Barcelona). The state-of-the-art in the automotive sector has trusted AUSA to pull the racing car out of the circuit in case of accident or mechanical problems. Two TAURULIFT T 307 H and one TAURULIFT T 204 H telehandlers were delivered to the organization of the race on Friday together with a Multitask M 50 D for support on material’s transportation.
Comercial Reymavic, S.A. has been for the past 22 years the official provider of the Circuit de Catalunya on most of every circuit’s event. The professional team they have and the precision and organizational skills needed for such a big challenge have made this company reliable for providing the handling machines. AUSA is very proud to work with Comercial Reymavic and their team in this event.
Regarding to equipment sent, the AUSA Taurulift T 307 H is the biggest AUSA telehandler and it is capable to lift up to 3,000Kg (6,613 pounds) to 7m (23 feet) or reaching 4m (13 feet) horizontally loaded with 1,000Kg (2,204 pounds). It all means that this equipment can easily lift or reach horizontally the 600kg (1,323 pounds) of the average F1 car.
The AUSA Taurulift T 204 H is in the mid-range of the AUSA Taurulift family. Just like its biggest brother, the T 307 H is an extremely compact machine and offers top-class components for a very low cost of operation and a very remarkable reliability. The capacities are lower (2,000kg at 4m height or 1000kg at 2.6m / 4,408 pounds at 13 feet height or 2,204 at 8.5 feet) but still over the demands of the race organization.
Finally, the AUSA Multitask M 50 D is a multi-purpose vehicle that can carry up to 500Kg (1,100pounds). The outstanding off-road capabilities allow a negotiable gradient at full load of 39° (80%) with a ground clearance of 355mm (12 inches). Noteworthy as well are the attack angles of 80° of obstruction and 72° of departure. This machine is suitable for any outdoor activity that requires a heavy duty compact vehicle for loads or people transportation such as emergency or security teams on demanding off-road areas.
