AUSA, a manufacturer of compact all-terrain industrial vehicles, took part in FIMA, Spain’s leading agricultural trade show, with its own stand, where it presented a selection of compact, reliable, and easy-to-use solutions tailored to the needs of modern agriculture and livestock farming. In addition to its indoor exhibition space, AUSA also featured a dedicated electric vehicle demonstration area, allowing visitors to experience first-hand the technological innovations already available on the market.
“The agricultural sector in Spain is undergoing a deep transformation: there are fewer farms, but they are becoming larger, more professionalized, and increasingly focused on investment to improve productivity,” says Alberto Ortega, Commercial Director at AUSA. “In this context, AUSA provides compact and versatile solutions that help professionals do more with less: from moving fruit bins or feeding livestock to cleaning stables, working inside sheds, or supporting farm construction works, including fully electric alternatives.”
Compact telehandlers: versatility and comfort
AUSA’s telehandler range was represented by the T144H, T164H, and T235H models, with load capacities ranging from 1,350 to 2,300 kg and maximum lifts of 4 and 5 meters. Their distinctive design, featuring a side-mounted boom, allows the engine to be positioned at the rear of the machine, resulting in a larger and more comfortable cab. With an overall height of just 2 meters, these machines can easily access indoor areas with low doors, such as farms or small storage facilities. Compatibility with multiple attachments makes them highly versatile solutions for agricultural and livestock operations.

Rough terrain forklifts: maneuverability and performance
AUSA showcased the electric C151E, as well as the C151H and C251H models, with load capacities from 1,500 to 2,500 kg and maximum lifts of up to 5.4 meters. These machines stand out for their excellent maneuverability and all-terrain capability, enabling agile operation in narrow spaces such as orchard rows or storage areas. They are ideal for transporting fruit bins, handling materials in nurseries, and performing a wide range of agricultural tasks.

Electric range: sustainable all-terrain solutions
In the electric demonstration area, AUSA presented the T164E telehandler, with a 1,600 kg load capacity and a 4-meter lifting height, along with the C151E rough terrain forklift, offering a 1,500 kg capacity and up to 4-meters maximum lift. Visitors were able to experience near-silent, CO2 free-emission vehicles, ideally suited for farms equipped with solar energy systems or for indoor tasks where animal welfare is a priority.
Thanks to their electric technology, maintenance costs can be reduced by up to 75% compared to combustion models, due to the lower number of components and wear parts, as well as significant fuel savings.
With more than 70 years of experience in the design, manufacturing, and commercialization of compact all-terrain equipment for material handling and earthmoving, AUSA has established itself as a benchmark in the sector. Its telehandlers and rough terrain forklifts are recognized for their reliability, compactness, and ease of use, providing solutions well suited to the daily demands of agricultural and livestock operations.
Since September 2024, AUSA has been part of Oshkosh Corporation’s Access Equipment division, a strategic move to accelerate the company’s growth and bolster the equipment portfolio of JLG®.
